[Callers] Trip to Lambertville - 2 Questions

Well, I live near Lambertville and, if my hazy memory serves me, have
only seen it danced (here in NJ and elsewhere) with the men
allemanding into the waves of 4, balance, and then an 8-count
neighbor swing. (Don't quite see how you could fit in an allemande
left and a balance and swing in the A2.) As for your query about the
men's footwork in their balance in the long waves, I see your point,
but in terms of eye contact I think it does make sense to balance
right, then left, and allemande with the gent you just made eye
contact with. (And in any event I think it would be hard to inculcate
balancing left and right.)

Enjoy calling at the Scout House!
